how internalized capitalism shames us into silence & prevents community-building by painting mutual aid as "wrong" /// a piece made in response to an anonymous hate message accusing me of lying. at first, i hid away, like i always did when things get hard. but this time, i refuse to hide or feel shame. many of us are struggling, especially those of us who face layers of marginalizations. may we continue to build community and find strength in kindness, wealth in sharing, and persistence in love.
